Cha, Cha, Cha, Changes!

So I totally quit my job as a car salesman (Yeah, I know, don't ask..) on Friday and started my new job today.  It is basically what I did in Blackwell only none of the crappy stuff and all of the things I enjoy.  Can we say "Dream Job"?  To top it off today we ordered my work truck.  A nice 2007 Chevy Silvarado Ext. Cab Z71.  Plus a few other bells and whistles.  I will take a picture of it when it comes in.  I am stoked as all get out.  I basically set my own hours which will allow me to pick up more courses in the fall semester.

Ohh-yeah!  I forgot to mention I am going back to college.  I only have two classes right now.  Biology and Business Ethics.  So I should be able to almost pick up a full schedule in the fall semester.  I would take summer classes but the deployment to Iraq is going to ruin that.  I got out of the military and 6 months later (October to be exact) I reenlisted, mainly to cover my tuition for college.  Right now I am an English major, why, you ask?  Well I used to love to write.  And someone got me inspired to write again and so I started writing again, but then it all went back to shit.  A very long story, but not really so much so.  I like to pretend that it is a long story if only to give it some validity.  Lets just say that my life as always is a roller coaster with horrific ups and downs.  I miss the easy days.  And if you wonder what the easy days were, well truthfully it is probably the life your living right now if you are reading this.

I love the introspective that Xanga has always given me.  Just browsing through the latest 10 or so recent posters in my sub list I see that some people have stayed the same and some people are evolving before my eyes.  Ash is getting married, OMG, WTF! .  Eartha is having the time of her life in the states while still be a tad homesick.  And Kara, well Kara is worrying about trivial stuff while building up to a life so awesome that us, the mundane, will be jealous of even the boring things she does, don't sweat the small stuff babe, you have years ahead of you to do that.  Your way to young to worry about the things you worry about.  Enjoy life while you can.

And where does that leave little ole me?  At 25, soon to be 26 I have set very few goals in my life.  Don't get me wrong.  I have set an assload of goals, most of them unattainable.  But as of recent I have tried to set some goals that will help to define who I am over the next 5 years, some attainable, some rather far fetched but a good goal none the less.  And now I present to you my goal of things to do:

1. Graduate with a Bachelors degree.
2. Obtain my officers commission.
3. Finish my novel.
4. Figure out what love actually means to me.
5. Determine what I want to be doing 10 years from now.
6. Make the 7 the car I have always dreamed it would be.

6 simple goals for now, well at least 6 goals of what should be simple.

On that note I think I will call it a night and I truly appreciate every soul whom stops by, even if you don't take the time to say hello.

Hopefully I can get back into the swing of posting again and thus reconnect with some of my own friends on Xanga.

I love you guys!

Back from the land of dead photo links...

Wow, has it really been 6 months?  How have you lived without me?

I just got done flipping through my Xanga reading some of the more memorable posts from the past.  What a rush.  Some good some bad.

Life has lead me down some strange paths the last few months.  Nothing I am willing to get in depth about at this time.  But I wanted to drop a line and assure everyone that I was still alive.

Perhaps I can find the time to make some sort of comeback...

We shall see...

Yeah...

That Hugo Chavez is a winner isn't he....

G. Gordon Liddy said it best today.  Hugo Chavez made a statement saying that if the US took actions against Iran that Venezuela would attack the US...  As Mr. Liddy said, "That would be a perfect example of a mosquito trying to have sex with an elephant."

We go to war with Venezuela I will probably reinlist, lmao.

Been awhile huh?

Been busy as work trying to wrap up the project I am on.  I am tired of this place and ready to move on to a new project or a new job or anything new at this point in time!

On a good note, I bought a Ibanez bass guitar tonight.  Got in touch with a guy who is going to give me some lessons so stay tuned.

Can't wait to get the bad boy in.

Salud!
